Connecting to QuickBooks
A connection between AGSF Accounting Bridge and a QuickBooks Online company is never started from this website. It is started by an administrator of ACCOUNTING GROUP OF SOUTH FLORIDA LLC from the Service's private administration screens, and only after the owner of the company has authorized it in writing.
How a connection is made
- A firm administrator records where the client's written authorization is kept and announces the company to connect: its Company ID and its exact name.
- The Service creates a one-time link to Intuit, valid for 15 minutes.
- A QuickBooks user with sufficient rights in that company (from the firm, or the client's own administrator at the client's request) signs in at Intuit, chooses the company and approves the connection.
- Intuit sends the browser back to the Service. The Service accepts that answer only once, and completes the connection only if the company chosen is the one that was announced; otherwise nothing is saved.
- The browser then shows a page that says whether the connection worked.
There is no way to connect the application from this page. If a connection has stopped working, see Reconnecting.
If the firm asked you to approve a connection
Open only the link the firm sent you, choose exactly the company named in the firm's message, and approve. If you did not expect a request, do not approve anything and write to alex@agosfl.com.
